Rocabella Santorini is a luxury boutique hotel on the stunning island of Santorini, renowned for its elegant aesthetic, breathtaking architecture, and panoramic views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea. With a strong focus on authentic hospitality and local culture, the property offers a refined yet relaxed experience of Greek island living.

Objective

The main objectives of our collaboration were to:

   •    Brand Awareness: Position the hotel to both international and domestic audiences.
   •    Atmosphere & Aesthetics: Showcase the unique design and lifestyle identity of Rocabella through cinematic visuals.
   •    Content Creation: Deliver a versatile library of assets for social media, website, and promotional campaigns.
   •    Emotional Storytelling: Build an evocative narrative that conveys luxury, intimacy, and the essence of Santorini.

Scope of Work

Content Creation - Cinematic Video & Photoshoot

 Production Duration: 4–5 days on-location in Santorini.
 

Deliverables:
•    Over 100 retouched high-resolution photos.
•    Cinematic film for social media and paid campaigns.
•    Brand Film (~2 minutes).
•    Underwater cinematography in the pool and the sea.
•    Lifestyle shoots at beaches, a local winery, and onboard a catamaran.
•    Equipment: Drone, gimbal stabilizers, prime cinematic lenses, underwater housings.

The project posed several unique challenges. Shooting across multiple locations, from beaches to the winery and the catamaran, required careful planning to manage lighting variations and logistics.

By scheduling shoots according to time of day and location, we maximized natural light and ensured consistent visual quality.

​

Filming on the catamaran presented a challenge due to constant motion. Drone cinematography and advanced stabilization gear allowed us to capture the freedom and energy of the sea without compromising image stability.

At the winery, the low-light environment demanded a specialized technical approach. Using high-sensitivity equipment and wide-aperture lenses, we highlighted the atmosphere of the space and the authenticity of the wine-tasting experience.

Finally, the underwater filming required technical precision and specialized equipment.

With professional underwater housings and detailed pre-production planning, we succeeded in capturing the sense of playfulness and tranquility beneath the surface, adding a unique artistic dimension to the overall narrative.
