Transforming Bratsera HYDRA Through Branding, Visual Identity & Digital Strategy

BRATSERA HYDRA is a historic hospitality landmark reborn. Once a 19th-century sponge factory, now a boutique hotel and refined culinary destination, it holds deep ties to the island’s maritime and artistic heritage. In 2024, the Bratsera team partnered with us to completely reimagine their brand — from the ground up — and build a modern, digital-first presence rooted in authenticity, elegance, and storytelling.

Objective

The partnership focused on five primary goals:

  • Craft a refined new brand identity aligned with Hydra’s heritage and future

  • Design a modern logo and full visual language adaptable across digital and print

  • Build and implement a social media strategy that communicates story and sophistication

  • Deliver high-quality photography and filmmaking assets to define Bratsera’s new chapter

  •  Boost digital visibility, engagement, and direct bookings

Scope of Work

Branding & Logo Design

​Deliverables:

  • Full brand identity system (logos, fonts, color palette, graphic assets)

  • Brand guidelines document (visual usage, tone, and application)

  • Custom illustrations and iconography inspired by Hydra’s cultural motifs

Creative Direction:​​

  • We designed a brand system that honors Hydra’s naval past while elevating Bratsera into a minimalist, modern sanctuary. The logo draws from archival symbols (compass motifs, rope knots, marine iconography) and merges them with clean typography for elegance and readability.:

  • Elegant serif logotype with nautical influence

  • Submark logo for social media and signage

  • Refined palette of deep sea blue, sun-washed neutrals, and oxidized brass

  • Application-ready templates for menus, business cards, and packaging

Website Design & Development

As part of the full rebranding, we also designed and developed Bratsera HYDRA’s new website — a sleek, modern platform that mirrors the elegance and minimalism of the brand itself.

Objectives:

  • Create a seamless user experience for both desktop and mobile users

  • Highlight the hotel’s story, rooms, gastronomy, and heritage in a visually immersive way

  • Drive direct bookings through an intuitive, conversion-optimized layout

Production Timeline: 2-day on-location shoot
